This earring is one of the recent pieces in the inception of a larger collection of 'Missile' earrings, with silhouettes and stone combinations inspired by the Tatreez motif of the same name I've found so much power within.
The inclusions in this particular Montana Agate cabochon resembled tiny mushroom clouds billowing up after their destructive impact to the earth, with a blood-red droplet of anthill garnet, swinging like a pendulum beneath it.
