Zaytun or Zaytuuna is the arabic word for olive, crucial to Palestinian history and culture. A fruit that will reach its roots deep into the earth regardless of water being scarce, and can be made into a number of different forms of home or food products of sustinence. I spelled this pendant this specific way, as that is the spelling of my cousins Manar and Majed's last name.
